Frequently Asked
Questions
| Q. |
Why cant I get online?
|
| A. |
First thing you should try to do is restart your
PC and try again. Also make sure your user name and password
are typed correctly and in all lowercase letters
|
| Q |
I am downloading my e-mail and it stops on #x.
|
| A. |
You may have a stuck e-mail or an e-mail that is too large
to download. Login to the web-mail and check to see you have
any unusually large e-mails or anything you dont want
and delete it. Then try again with your normal e-mail program.
|
| Q. |
What is the dial-up number? |
| A. |
The number is: 985-380-2400 (Do
not put the area code in unless you normally have to use it
to call Morgan City)
|
| Q. |
I try to dial-up and it tells me I have no
dial tone? |
| A. |
First thing you should try to do is restart your
PC and try again. Then check you phone line connection to your
computer, and try plugging in a phone to the same jack and check
for a dial tone. If none of that seems to help, you may have
something wrong with you PC hardware and you will need to bring
it in for service
|
| Q. |
Why cant I get online with DSL? |
| A. |
First check to see if you DSL light is lit on
your modem. If so try to restart you modem and then your computer.
If it still does not work call us and we can help you from there.
|
| Q. |
I changed my phone service carrier and now
I cant connect with my DSL. |
| A. |
Not all phone service carriers are compatible with DSL.
Please check with us before changing carriers or you may lose
you DSL service and incur disconnect and reconnect fees.
